So, a man that I have

been talking to for a number of years

said to me a couple of days ago

that I was giving up,

because I am no longer intersted

in entertaining the ideal of marriage.

All I'm Sayin' Is...🫦

Don't men understand that in order

for you to consider

being a submissive to one of them

in their world,

that it means that you have to stop

and reaarange all the plans

that you have been making

for yourself

in your world?

I mean, yes.

The man is also creating a huge space

for you in his world,

BUT it is ususally

the man that decides

when and how

his world is ready for someone to be added to it.

Women on the other hand are receiving an invitiation

that can come more unpredictably.

To decide to leave the concept of marriage

out of my life at this time,

is only to say that I am leaving

the concept of marriage out of my life

with regards to any of the current men

that I am talking to

(when I say that I don't mean sleeping with),

because I don't believe

they any longer are suitable option for me.

Respect,

a woman's decision to be single,

so many of us

are so beautiful and successful.

We carry so many

God-given gifts.

It sucks that

so many of us are taught to believe

we're valueless

unless somehow

we are able to find that

one person

in such a big world.

In the little time we get to live in it too.
